help!!!!

hello all,
this isnt about ceara, but about this place:) i noticed yesterday somthing i have never seen. when i clicked on new posts there were little arrows to the right of the thread starter. and i could click on them to read first unread post, and today those are gone. also yesterday i could click on a post and see the post i clicked on while today i click on a post and i see the post that they just completed. i'll give and example, ill use meemoo (i hope you dont mind:) ) i wanted to read one of her posts about feeding that she had submitted earlier in the day but instead it took me to her post she just wrote about adoption!! was yesterday just an experiment or am i seeing somthing other people arent. another thing is when i reply, i have to hit quote and erase, becuase no reply button comes up like everyone else says they have!! my little arrows at the bottom of the page dont work when there are multiple pages also. whats going on??? is it me?

What's a thread starter? The little arrows on the main page which will only take you to the last post, only, in an entire forum? By doing so you will not see *all* the new posts in that forum. To view all new posts/threads since your last visit . . . click View New Posts at the top left of the main page. To clear your new posts as read . . . click Mark all Forums read at the top right.

Once inside a thread (topic within the forum) the *post reply* icon is above the latest post in that thread.

Little arrows at the bottom of what page? :)

the thread starter is the person who started the thread. when i click on new posts it takes me to a list of all the new posts i havent yet read, but yesterday there was arrows and i could click on each post and read the correct one. right now if i click on a post that is at the bottom of the list that was written earlier it wont take me to that post, it will take me to the latest post written by that person. and yup, still no bottun above the latest post for me to click on!! all there is is start new thread button. and if you scroll all the way down to the bottom of any page there are little arrows that dont work (for me at least) also i dont always get e-mails when someones replys to my post. only sometimes?? i dont know.

okay, the reason i was asking stupid questions, like where is the reply button, is because i didnt have one! what i saw and what you all saw was completly different! last night Annie helped me out tremedously! she showed me what DBB was suposed to look like. and it looked very different than what i saw!! my major problem was that i wasnt seeing the thread titles and i had to click on the thread starter, who is the person that wrote the thread. i had been doing this and replying by quoting and erasing my whole time here! we figured out, well annie did, that my norton was messing up my browser. once norton was shut off, i coudl see DBB as it is realy. my dad is going to look through my comp. and fix norton today. thank you all for you help i appreciate it! i now see this place as you do!

SO glad problem solved, never heard of that before. Thank you Annie!!

okay well my dad went through my comp. and empitied my cache, which was very full,lol. and increased my virtual memory and lowered my security settings. i guess it was just too high:) once again Annie, thank you!

I am glad all it took was some settings tweaking and was not a corrupted anti-virus program.

I hope using the site is a lot more fun for you now! :)
