Back Suurgery Recovery???

Our "Bro" just made it through surgery today for a protruding disk that had left him paralyzed. The doctor at Tufts University says recovery may take months. Does anyone have any experience with such an operation?

Yes, our Duck Butter (now 6 yrs. old) had the back surgery when she was 4 yrs. old and was paralyzed. Recovery, for her, took 5+ weeks. She is one of the lucky ones who fully recovered. What information are you looking for?
