Dog attacks boy, maybe returned to owner

Oh how horrible for that poor baby. To have the chance of facing that dog again. I know some attacks are provoked but as a parent I don't think that I would be able to live in that area if the dog was released back to the owner.

Poor and lucky kid. At 5 years old, it's a miracle the pit didn't kill him. I wouldn't want to live near that kind of trouble. Even if they give the dog back, who is to say the people wont follow the restrictions?

There was a story here in Georgia last week. It involved a teen girl and a pit bull. The girl was walking down a street and the pit attacked her, she then ran in to the street where she was hit by a car. For a few days no one knew who she was. They do now, but I'm not sure what is going to happen with the pit. The owners said he isn't a vicious dog, but I'd say otherwise.
