I belong to Purina's Pro Club and get a copy of their Today's Breeder Magazine. In the latest issue there was an article about a litter box system for dogs Purina has developed. It is called Secondnature. It is designed for puppies and small dogs up to 35lbs. It can be used to house train puppies, for dogs that are left alone during the day, and for the elderly, disabled, or apartment dwelling dog owner that has difficulty taking their dog outside for walkies. It is more asorbent than cat litter, can't be shredded like the pads (not like our guys would do that or anything http://dachsie.org/ubb/smilies/smile.gif and the walls on the box are high enough so when the boys lift their legs they hit the box and not the floor. Sounds like something I might try for my next litter.

Hey! If I can train my iguana to use a catbox then certainly a dog is smart enough to figure out what it's hooman wants http://dachsie.org/ubb/smilies/biggrin.gif
