Sounds premeditated to me. Guy also sounds like he would take that tactic with anyone weaker than him. After his sentence is over, I would bet money he assualts someone or another animal. It said he is already serving time for assualt. Too many warning signs to me.

Love the jail time - but it should have been a lifetime ban on pet ownership.
We've got to keep educating judges!

that during his stay some animal loving inmate does precisely the same to him.
His next victim wont be an animal he'll be aiming at a person.
Not enought jail time at all.

I hope his cell mate likes to pitch the doggy style.
Oh gawd, did I really say that?

Definately not enough jail time and he should be banned from being near any animal for life! But I guess it's baby steps and the law seems to be taking this kind of thing more seriously than even last year...so I guess maybe next year there will be stiffer penalties....I hope!
  I wish the lawmakers would get their act together and vote for serious jail time AND a huge fine. This guy got off with the slap of the wrist given the chance I'm sure he will do it again. Poor pupper paid the price. :weep:
