We have 2 doxies - 1 is 2 1/2, the other is just over a year. We have always had problems with the older one peeing in our house-but only when we aren't home. The youngest (Dani)is proving to be more difficult. We put them both in a crate together when we aren't home and Dani has started to have accidents of both kind in the crate. I even come home for lunch so the longest they are left is 4 hours at a time. We have tried everything. We leave them out of the crate sometimes and (I think) they both go in the house. Neither of them will do this when we are home. We have a yard and tend to leave our door open when we are home because they love to chase lizards out there and they go out when they want to and do their business. I am wondering if this is the problem and how we can reverse this. We give them treats and praise when they go outside but since we are never at home when they do it we can't reinforce not to go in the house. Any help would be appreciated. -- Jenny
