I seen this posted on a rescue board.
I thought this might be interesting to try.
Has anyone ever had one?
They are kind of pricey.

ROFL.. .I can just see my 2 swinging though the living room playing Tarzan and Jane with one of those!!

I've never seen one of those before... looks like fun for the dogs

but it's not something I would use with a dog with back problems.

room to room on one of those things. Looks liek you could make one out of a mop head for alot cheaper. Neat idea though. But the back thing would concern me too.

I would be too afraid to use that with a dachshund. I don't like tugging with them- but on the occasions that they beg for a pull game, I make sure to keep their head level. Having the toy over their head presents too much risk for twisting in funny directions.

Besides- mine hardly even play tug o' war with each other- and I think that they'd give up pretty fast on a toy that didn't have a human behind it or couldn't be tucked between their paws for a de-stuffing.

Maybe some breeds- but I don't think it's for ours. :)

issue concerns me also. I have lost one to IDD.
It was doxies that had them. I just dont think I would get one for mine. This lady bought 2 for her doxies.
I think it would be great for a bigger breed tho.

My dachsies...NO. My pits....YES. Am always looking for new tug toys for Sophie and Quincy who wear me out, especially Sophie. She's a tug-o-holic. A little expensive, but I may check into it just to see what it's like. Wonder if they have a guarantee if it's not pit-proof?:dizzy:

Mary, your pit bulls sound so cute... like big overgrown playful puppies who should be hugged very often :) .

I wonder if the tug thing is on a springy thing or just a rope. :huh: Mine jump around too much as it is. Cass will jump in the air at nothing.

We had a Scottie when I was a kid that would have loved this... though I agree probably not the best things for our Doxies... But the picture in my mind of them swinging through the house still makes me laugh :circle:

Swinging doxies! Oh what a picture. I'm sure any dog would love these toys. It definitely gives hoomommy and hoodaddy a break from the tugging games.

~~~TTTTAAAAAAARRRRRZZAAANNNN~~~~
I'm still laughing about that visual!
Well, shoot, Priscilla does this about a hundred times a day without a toy!
Let's see, putting on clothes - pulling game.
folding clothes - pulling game.
sweeping - pulling game.
mopping - pulling game.
drying off after a shower with towel - pulling game. Oh, and after, I get my ankles dried by a dachsie tongue!
Walking in socks - pulling game.
Hmm, maybe I do need one of these things.:D
