Hmm...I wonder how long those two witches can hold THEIR breath if we hold their heads under water!

Not enough punishment in the world for these two....

Poor Dewey...

The final comment from the cop confuses me: "Why not give the dog to the shelter?" No, the question should be: "Why is a grown woman jealous enough of a little dachsie to kill it...shelter be dam***?!" It's like it's ok she STOLE the dog and just would have been nicer if she would have given it away. Which is somewhat true---the pupper would be alive---but, she planned this whole thing to get closer to her boyfriend. Ahhhhggggg!!!!! May the gods nail her a** to the wall for this! And that other witch too!

Candles will be lit for Dewey and his hoodad--one for each!:tears: :tears:

I feel so sorry for the boyfriend. Imagine having your baby killed by your girlfriend of 2 years. Its like losing your whole life all at once. At least he got rid of the witch.

I only wish I could find a boyfriend who likes dachsies that much...

Not that its any consolation but from the sounds of things at least Dewey had a pampered two years. (unless she was torturing him the whole time...)

Oh my God. I never read anything so horrible. What is wrong with people? My heart goes out to the boyfriend. I just sorry he couldn't have been as selective of chosing his girlfriend, as he was choosing his pet. Poor Dewey

I wonder what the laws are in Maine for animal cruelty, I see they both made bail. I will say a prayer and light a candle for  Dewey.

I'm almost ashamed to say that this is where I was born and raised....as much as I'm glad I don't know these two loser bitches I kind of wish I did so I could call them up and give it to em. Maybe I'll sick my mother and brother on em.

My candle is lit right now for Dewey.:( I refuse to read what is said in the article! The world has enough bad things that people are exposed to. I thank you for sharing, but I personally cannot stomach another sad dachsie story right now. He is in my thoughts!!! No offense to anyone who did read it. This is a personal decision.

to go on and read this article, from the replies here.
I did finally read it.
It made me sick.
How in the world could a so called human being have so much jealousy over a beloved pet?
Those 2 witches need to be put in a tub of HOT WATER until they no longer are breathing.
I feel so horrible for the boyfriend. I am sure he is just devistated over the loss of his beloved Dewey and then to find out that his girl friend of 2 years is NUTS!!!!!
It is just sickening that someone could do that to a poor defenseless animal.:crying: :crying: :crying:

Samiam: I wish I didn't read the article. You've got the right idea. I usually don't read them, but for some reason read this one and wish I hadn't. Aweful, aweful people.

It's horrible what people do! But then I've never understood why people have to hurt others. It just doesn't make sense to me. Poor Dewey will be in my prayers.

This is such a horrible story. The girlfriend did it out of jealousy because the boyfriend was paying to much attention to Dewey. The boyfriend in an interview said he could not understand how she could do this. He said he wants to remember the girlfriend as she was, not the monster that killed Dewey, "his best little buddy." He was shocked in the interview and close to tears. Im glad both woman will be punished, but they are out on bail, free till thier arrainment in July. That angers me.

Meanwhile my prayers to little Dewey and a horrible loss of his life because of a woman's stupid jealousy.

How horrible! Poor Dewey! But someone said in a reply that he probably had a pampered two years. I can't believe that thing would do something to a puppy! Imagine if the boyfriend had had a child! Humanity in it's lowest form!

Wylie and Walters were charged with animal cruelty by the Portsmouth NH on Sunday 5/23/04. Wylie was charged as an accomplice to the act. The 2 women turned themselves into the police, after arrest warrants were issued.

To cover her tracks, Wylie placed an advertisement in the Lost and Found section of the Portsmouth Herald on Thursday, May 20th. The Portsmouth Herald graciously ran the ad for free from Friday May 21st to Monday May 24th. A Herald advertising representative realized on Monday morning that the ad was bogus, while watching televised news about the case.

Walters was released on $10,000 personal recognizance bail. Wylie was released on $5000 personal recognizance bail and $170 cash bail. The two will be arraigned in Portsmouth District Court on June 21st at 8:30am.

The two each face a Class C felony burglary and a Class D misdemeanor for receiving stolen property in Maine. Walters was release on $1500 cash bail and Wylie was released on $1000 cash bail from the York County Jail in Alfred Maine on Saturday 5/22/04.

If convicted on animal cruelty charges the women could spend 3.5 to 7 years in prison. If convicted on the burglary charges, they could serve up to 5 years in prison. If convicted of receiving stolen property they could face up to 1 year in jail.

Well, the charges look about as strong as they can be, let's just hope the sentancing fits!

Well, if the the community is still hot on this subject and rallying against it when the case goes to court, then they definitely will get some jail time!

Like the saying says: Love me; love my dog.

She obviously is not a dog lover!

Justice for DEWEY!!! I can't help but to wonder how the boyfriend is doing. This all has to be very overwhelming for him. What it must be like to find out that a person that you trust is a monster and a murderer.:(

UGGHHH!  These women should get the maximum sentence!! These women should NEVER be allowed to have children, pets,or anything else living. They obviously have no respect for living, breathing, feeling animals.

doxunzX3

I hope they get in put in jail and get put in there for the full sentence. But you know how that works or should I say doesn't. The courts are so overloaded with other things that they will most likely serve a short amount of time. But.... hopefully they will never be able to have pets and they both need some counseling to help there twisted brains. But I am not holding my breath that either one will ever get anything much out of it.
Most likely they will go on Dr phil or Oprah and have a book and make money off of it all. :fierce:   :thick: :hammer:

As much as I wish to see justice for Dewey, I hope these trials dont turn into a disaster with overzealous animal rights people there. I don't mean to offend anyone, but sometimes things like this get out of hand.

Ah- it must take a really "special" kind of person to be a defense lawyer who defends such scum. Heh- at least she's getting "heckled". I hope that whatever happens in the justice system, she can never forget this. I hope they make her feel bad enough that she almost knows what remorse REALLY feels like.
