it's not law yet, so I'll be watching to see what happens. I'm not thrilled, but I understand the reasoning behind it. But, can we tag the owners too??? There have been times where I see dogs completely misbehaving in the dog park (or off a leash in the city!) and no owner comes to take care of it. I am always around Schnitzel and am prepared to take care of a situation if something arises. But, that's me.

accountable for their dogs' actions? It is a responsible dog owner that is willing to pay for any medical or damage bills that their dog causes. I know I would gladly pay if Cricket hurt someone intentionally w/o cause. I don't think that you should lump all dog owners together though. Like the person in the article said, why punish responsible owners? A friend of mine works for a large Ins company and he said that they will not reissue a home owner's policy if you have certain breeds of dogs. I find good reasoning on both sides of that issue also but think that again that punishes good dog owners.
