Hi guys. I am trying to get some pics of Cricket posted. Loren has been kind enough to help but the program I used to scan them is one that she doesnt have. I have tried to convert them to jpegs but it isn't working or I am not doing it right. I am doing it from work and hate to ask the guy to try it again...but will if I have to. Does anyone on the DBB have PaperPort? That is the program used to scan them. They are from a 35mm not a digital camera.
Thanks

I happen to have the program on this computer. (Not my usual machine) Have you tried using the "Save as" feature under the "File" menu? There should be a small drop down menu in the Save As window that lets you choose format. (.jpg, .tif, bmp, etc.).
The "Save as" feature is only available when you have the image opened in "Page View". There are a couple of different ways to do that. Double click on the image. Or click on it so that there is a red line around it and then click on the "Page" icon in the upper left corner.
Once it is in its own window you can resize and do some basic editting. When you are done, click on "File" extreme upper left corner, click on "Save as". A small window will pop up. Choose the location you want to save to. I usually save to the desktop or into My Documents so I can find it easily when uploading to my photo host site. Choose the .jpg format. It will then ask how much compression you want. I like things nice so I usually opt for a smaller image and higher qualitly. So I resize to 4.5 or 5 inches on the longest side and then use the highest quality compression.
Hope this helps. Others may have used PP more recently than I have and know some tips.
