spot, Faye! What a good story! I hope more people realize how important it is to keep dachsies at a healthy weight! (Although I have to say, I have 3 dachsies on dodgerslist, and none of them were overweight.) I did put Siglen on the famous, no-salt pureed green beans diet to help slim her down when she was pudgy at 18# - I did not want to have a 4th one go down with pain or paralyzation! Julia B.
