Kim and I are going to moderate this new forum. It is for things that are Not Dachsie Related. It is about you, whether you want to brag about new house, job, car, grades, wedding, engagement, or anything else your heart desires. Just brag, brag, brag about yourself.

What a neat idea! It's fun to get to know one another - it makes the doxie postings even more interesting when we get a little glimpse of the "human" side of us. Barbara:flower:

This was a great idea, Faye. Sorry all you computer literate dachises- but we want to know your people, too! The whole REST of the board is about you doggers, anyway. :D

for a very good idea. We need a human Brag Book, too (and pictures are always welcome in this forum also!).

Of course, Miscellaneous is still there, for... well, you know - Miscellaneous Things :D .

This is easy "waht do I brag about outside of my dogs".

My three awesome grandsons. Andy, Chris and John.

Andy and John live in Colorado Springs, CO. They are both terrific soccer plays. Andy will be a high school senior next year and is rated the number #2 goalie in the state. His day was stationed in Turkey for 5 years and Andy learned to play there. He has the european attitude and style to his playing. He wants to be a sport PT trainer. Oh yes he is 6'4' with flaming red head and blue eyes, as his Mom says "..a girl magnetic .." John is my youngest grandson and the apple of his Mommys eye. He wants to go up to be a pastry chef. His soccer skills are not as good as his older brother but he ain't bad at all .

Chris lives in Fredericksburg, VA about 10 minutes from me and he will be a high shool junior next year. He is also a soccer goalie (Andy taught him a lot). He also plays for his high school team and is also a big guy. He wants to become a navy seal and takes all type of weight and physical classes. He is my driver, and goes with me on a lot of my dog transports and does pet sitting for me.

Ok, that is my three "boys". All completely different and I love them dearly.

this was a fantastic idea you had.
I am so glad its here now for all of us to get to know each other better.

Yolanda
It sounds like you have some wonderfully talented Grandsons.
Ahh maybe pictures of them next would be nice.
I went to Mitchell high school when we lived in Colorado Springs many moons ago when mom got a wild hair to move from CA. We didnt stay too long there. I think about a year or so.
When the hubby and I moved to Denver years ago we drove out to the old house and high school there.
Ahhh memories:flower:
