Last night at 10:00 p.m., it was 102 degrees! :fainty: This morning, at 6:50 a.m., it was 89 degrees. By 7:15, it had hit 90 degrees. It is supposed to go up to 108 degrees today. We are going to fry!! :fainty:

Oh, HOW do you handle it? It's very rare that we get up that high- at least in recent years. We've had such a wet year (thank goodness) that it's really kept temps down. But the humidity- something you guys don't know at ALL ;)- is enough to make anyone miserable.

Saturday it was 72 here in PA. Today though it's going to be a hot and humid 87. Even though it's that temp. It's so humid up here that you gotta put the AC on!
Friday and Saturday night it was about 52! I had on sweats and a sweatshirt! BRRRR!!!

We had a WONDERFUL cold front come through this weekend and it brought the temps down to 67 during the night w/very little humidity! It was great! I was able to open my windows first thing in the morning and air out our house ~ came in handy since we had all been sick last week w/that stomach bug! But, of course, these things never last long down here in the humid south and we were at 88 by 8am this morning w/62% humidity! Supposed to get up to 95 by noon...which honestly wouldn't be all that bad if it weren't for the darn humidity!

I know you guys are going to throw eggs or tomatoes at me, but last week, it was 95 degrees in the daytime and I was soooooo cold! :D
At least if the Ice Age comes back, you know where to move to. :D
Kathy,
I thought it was cooler down in Tucson! Have you noticed that Pixie and Dixie are not used to this heat? That led me to believe that they came from the northern states.

OK I am not a sun Goddess to say the least! I like it cooler or at least not having humidity. Everyone else is complaining at work because we have hardley had any summer weather. Personally I thought it was to hot not so much because of the heat but the humidity. But soon it will be my kind of weather and the trees are starting to turn color I noticed the other day! YIPPIE!!!!!!
FALL IS ON ITS WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:jacks: :spotting:  :cheer: :verycool:
The dogs like it better too. I can take them out and enjoy walks more. I usually sit on my big butt at the bark park. But I want to walk them in the woods. The real treat for them!
It was a 100 here yesterday but suppose to cool off a bit today we'll see. We generally have a few hot days and then it cools. I have a friend that lives in Parker, AZ., and that is way too hot. Don't think I could stand too many HOT days at once and definitely not humidity. ;)
Hey Blueyezz, where in Bucks Co. are you? I was born in Clearfield and went to Penn State, main campus, not too far from Bucks Co. My best friends wife is originally from Bucks Co.
Hot here today too! Well, more humid than hot. We've had several days of nice weather, high in the 70's. It's been so wet, 15 inches of rain for July alone. My garden hasn't survived all the water. I spent yesterday ripping out tomato, pepper, and eggplants that were just rotting. My canteloupes and squash are fairing a little better though.

With monsoon season upon us, it can get very hot and humid in Tucson. We've had a lot of gray days with no sun, but no rain either (at least in our neighborhood). Just heat and humidity.
Pixie and Dixie don't like to be outiside for long when it's this hot - they just do their thing and want right back in. I can't blame them at all - they've got those little fur coats on!!
Oh well, fall will be coming soon and we'll have some beautiful days to be outside.:D

Normally we have at least 20 straight days of 100 degrees plus in the summer. So far the count is 1 day. I keep waiting for the heat to hit and it is supposed to be in the 70's later in the week!

Around here(Massachusetts), they're calling it "the summer that never was". I don't think we've had a day over 89' yet and this weekend was in the 70's with 50's at night. Great weather for cuddling with the pups. :) But I'd like a little bit of summer---send some our way.

It has been unseasonablely cool the last few days, nights get down in the mid 50's. This weekend we were up early, got to sit on the patio, read the paper and watch the furbabies enjoy the beautiful morning.
I think it's suppose to get hot again this week.

It's 98 today and is supposed to be in the 90's all week. :fainty: So much for the rainy northwest weather. Thankfully my sister is going to help me install a ceiling fan(I don't have an air conditioner:fainty: ). She is doing this in exchange for my babysitting my nephew while she goes to school one night a week. :bounce:
