DoxenzX3 made a post about what dog stuff she carries in her car.
Being that my vehicle is stocked with leashes, collars, bowls, towel, poopie bags, a couple of toys and an occasional crate.
I thought it was a good poll. What do you all have in your car?

You always KNOW a dog lover from their car. :)
I carry an extra leash and adjustable collar with me, JIC I come across a stray or lost pup who needs rescuing. I have a really old bag of treats that's probably ready for tossing out, a roll of pick-up bags, an old blanket on the backseat, and towels in the trunk (you always need towels in FL). I'm sure I have some toys in there, too- everytime I get my car detailed, the guys return Kongs, tennis balls, and squeakies they find under the seats.

Hmmm....I don't keep anything in my car. It is very clean. I am going to get a first aid box and put it in the car. I guess I could buy some extra leashes and harnesses, although, every time the little ones get into the car, I have to load up the car with their car seat.
I always bring water every time, though. It is too hot not to.

Oh dear, water bottle, water bowl, 3 leashes, 3 collars, 3 blankets, wipes, paper towels, trash bags... I think that is it right now... oh yes, 2 squeaky toys and a chew bone.

I have a first aid box, and in the garage, to go in the car on doggie trips or vet visits, or vacations, etc., we have Windex, paper towels, dog dishes, dog seat belts, and the travelling toys.
Of course, my SUV isn't usually found without the doggie nose art! :D Julia B.

I have First Aid Pet Kit in addition to human aid kit. I do not have any extra leashes at the moment but do have a package on the way and plan to keep one or two in the van. Water bottles, back seat is permanently covered with a cover for Mr. Rumblestiltskin.

Well, being the neat freak that I am, I had to buy a clear plastic tub w/lid to carry all my doxie stuff. It's just the right size to fit on the floor behind the drivers seat of my Jeep. Right now it has a roll of paper towels, plastic bags, leashes, collars, harnesses, bowl, water bottle & towel.

2 hug a dox harnesses, 2 leashes, 2 retractable leashes, water bowl, poop bags (empty), quilt, regular harness. I keep it all in a serpa travel bag. I keep the serpa bag because I figure if I ever have car problems I could contain one or both dogs in the bag so they would be safe, especially on the side of the road. They both fit in it as long as the top is unzipped, I would secure their leashes to the handles so they couldn't jump out.

For everyday I drive a standard cab small truck so there isn't a lot of room, but I still carry leashes, portable water dish, potty bags and towels behind the seat for emergencies.

I don't have anything in my car. Everytime we go for a car ride it is less than a 1/2 hour so he just needs a blanket to lay on and a chew toy.
Sometimes when I do go to my dad's for the day I pack a bag. It feels like I'm packing a baby bag though - food, toys, bowls, etc.

We have two vehicles, one Blazer and my car. I don't keep anything in either of them. Instead, I keep a bag handy that has everything in it. Bowls, one serving of food each (you never know when we'll get back home!), water, treats, poop bags, chew toys, tennis balls, and anything else that I see that needs to be added back to it as it comes out. Their leashes are always by the door, so they just get grabbed on the way out.

Let's start by the fact that I have this need to clutter every inch of space in my life.
OK remember now I do go on small day trips and you just never know. I won't repeat all the things everyone else has mentioned.
I always have my sleeping bag and at least 4 different back pillows. Noodles for swimming plus my swimming bag. I have toothbrush and all the rest of the stuff. Just for meeeee!
In my small tool box I also have antiseptic wipes etc.
In my big tool box it is a true vet kit. OK almost, but how many of you have a staple gun. Yes for the critters! A vet gave it to me when I had the best what happened to your dog story. I doubt I will ever use it manly because of the fact that I would be concerned about infection. But when you have a dog ripped open you want to at least keep them somewhat together.
OK then there is the 3 crates but most of the time the boys all go in one large wire crate. Plus don't you guys keep Dog Books or magizines to read.
I truely can live out of my van. And no I haven't put the mattress in yet this summer. Most of the time I have a twin matterss in it too.
You should see the stuff I carry back and forth to work!!!!!!
I am a compulsive everything! That pretty much says it all!

I am a dog lover but my car shows I travel w/human kids more. So, let's see...I have a car seat, diaper bag, wipes, tapes (yes I have no cd player yet), coloring books and towels. No pupper stuff...I try to keep it clean cause I had ants once years ago and it was awful!

Oh boy..we are of the "it all goes in the sherpa bag" types, with the exception of the at least two pick up bags in the car at all times (usually under the seat). Everytime we go to the cottage, the furkids have as much (if not more) stuff than we do!

I am liking the idea of a plastic box with a lid to contain my stuff. That will be a gotta get this weekend.
