I think I am going to change Maggie to FRR. Sounds like a great food from everything I have read. I know you have to go through a distributor to get it, but I'm having a hard time finding one for Texas.
How do I go about finding a distributor? Also, for those of you who buy FRR, which kind do you get?
Thanks. http://dachsie.org/ubb/smilies/smile.gif

The distributor does not have to be in Texas. I'm in Ohio and I used a distributor in NC. Really after your first order, you can contact the company directly to order. Your first order comes with a sheet of ordering options inside the shipping box. Just find a distributor you think looks good and order. I tried 5lbs first and then I ordered in 10 pound bags after that.
I used the baked chicken based kibble for all life stages.
Hope that helps!

Thanks, Krista. http://dachsie.org/ubb/smilies/smile.gif I placed my order yesterday.
Approximately how long does the 10 lb. bag last for you? I know you have two boys, but I just wanted to get a general idea.

To be honest, I cannot remember, and I am no longer feeding it. I loved the food, but I just really need to buy food locally as I am a very bad estimator <IMG SRC="http://dachsie.org/ubb/cwmsmilies/cwm26.gif" border=0> .
I know I gave Rudy 3/4 cup or so a day and he weighs about 10.5 pounds (an active boy though). It is a dense food and you'll have to figure out how much she can eat and maintain the right weight.

I feed Conrad and Finnious 3/4 cup of FRR (each) per day. A 10 lb bag lasts approximately 3.5 weeks. Con and Finn are each around 13 pounds. If they seem to be getting "fluffy," I cut back a bit, and if they seem to be getting too thin, I give them a bit more.

Okay, thanks, Clarese. http://dachsie.org/ubb/smilies/smile.gif Maggie is usually around 14 lbs, so I really appreciate your estimate. Gives me a good idea of how long I can expect the 10 lb. bag to last.
