I love you guys! I have been surfing lately (net) and found other boards out there relating to pets/animals etc and they just can't compare to this one. I don't know if I am hormonal or what but I just get sad when I read other boards and see that the pale in comparison to this one.......I figured if I could find another good one, I could kinda go back and forth.....but I can't. Oh well, I'll just stick to this one.

Awww...that's not Cheesy..it's sweet. And also true :D
Seriously, I am amazed daily at the open, friendly environment which DBB creates. You can have differing opinions and personalities, but at the end of the day it's all about what is best for the puppers. Folks seem to know that intuititvely, and you don't get the sort of flaming or natiness that you see on other boards.
We have some great folks as members, and I simply can't say enough about the amazing Mark and Jean who have sacrificed so much time, effort and I'm sure money to sustain and grow DBB into the amazing environment that it is.
Cheers!

I guess I just got lucky:D. I made my first post here after loosing my mill mother Aggie and received such a outpouring of support that I have never felt the need to look to another board. I had seen this and a few other boards prior to that time but hadn't posted to them. For what ever reason I found the best place to share my grief right here. That was over four years ago. I've seen members come and go some of the old crew who pre date me still here:). The board just seems to attract people who are fond of giving support as much as taking it. Who could we say has given more than our founder Jean who may not post often but is still a very big part of the board.
There have only been a few tense cases over the years that I can remember where someone has had to step in to keep things under control. Perhaps when if a trouble maker drops in and tries to start something but doesn't get the big reaction they expect they get bored and leave which is just fine with most of here.
Over time as you read the different post you begin to find we come from many different backgrounds share some common beliefs and also respect each other's differences. We can laugh at our selves and each other when proper but also lend a supporting shoulder or ear when needed. I think above all we share a common love for our short legged companions and the people at the other end of the leash as well.
