I changed my signature to DoxunzX3.6 instead of 3.3 because Zor just keeps growing. Oh well more of him to love! Tonight as I was holding him and thinking he really isn't that much smaller then Con & Ivy. But if he catches up to Chewz I will really be disappointed. Mostly because 28 lbs is a lot harder to hold then 13 or 14 or 15 or 21 pounds. I new he was going to be bigger than I really wanted but am still hoping he stays at least small standard size. Right now he is a definite tweeny weeny!:yeahfine: :pulser:

How old is Zor? Maybe he's just trying to keep up with the big'uns

It's tough for a small on in the crowd of bigger pups! :circle: Just watching Sofie with Seb and Sabrina and they bully her.

So it is possible for him to keep getting a bit bigger now. Hopefully not to much. I manly wanted the mini size because of my own problems lifting the bigger doxies. Lucky my standards are all good about getting up in the van etc. Although when Ivy's back was bad it was also bad on my back to lift her so much.
Zor is a very solid doxie, and that muscel is heavier than you would think.
But he is so darn cute no matter what size he is.

Harley just keeps growing too!!

Last I checked he was 14 lbs and he's almost 8 months old. Hope he stops growing soon!

In some catalog I saw a ramp you can get for a van. That should help with your back

Back in July when Speck got his shots, he was 12.5 pounds (6 months old). I might have to take him by the vet to get him weighed one of these Friday afternoons when I get off of work...I'd put money on it that he's gained since then. He doesn't look fat at all...he's just *really* solid and heavy.

It's how solid our pups are that really suprises everyone. If they are in good shape - all of that muscle really weighs a lot, and they are muscle dense to being with.

Personally, I always love the look of shock on people's faces when they first pick up Otto expecting him to be light as a feather!

I always love that, too, Juliette. They always say "Boy, he's a chunk". There are a couple of ramps out there for cars/vans. They're made out of plastic (I think) so they're light weight. I saw one in the In The Company of Dogs catalog and I think maybe one of the catalogs like Drs. Foster and Smith had one, too. DBB store might have something I haven't checked.

I just checked the DBB store. If you go to SitStay.com under the Pet Affiliates, they have a car/van ramp under equipment. Check it out. A portion of your money will go to keep DBB up and running.

Yes, over 20 lbs can make a big difference when you're carrying them. It's like carrying a toddler around all the time. Hopefully, he'll slow down in his growing now.
