Need ideas on toys for a new dachsie home

I was wondering if anyone could give me the names of some good toys/chew things for me to have for when i get my new dachsie. Thank -J

Get a kong (I think there are recipes at www.kong.com), (http://www.kong.com),) and I like the edible nylabones too, rope toys are good too. Dont buy any soft plastic type toys, they wont last. Stuffed toys are questionable, most dotn last even a day, but it depends on your dachsie. I've had some luck with stuffed fleecy toys but be prepared to sew!

I don't have a problem with stuffed toys. We have a very large collection of them and my guys have never destroyed one. They just chase them. i think it just depends on the dog.
The louder the squeek the better.
