Not according to my house partner. But she doesn't help when we go and see another doxie. OK I have good intentions of when the Guinea Piggers hit the dust that is it, no more little varmints. The cats are another story, I wasn't going to get any more of them either. LOL! It didn't work! Go figure, so now I plan on only having my little long doggies and will stick with that.

You did say pets, well we have a full house. On top of the 5 humans we have here and our sole Doxie, we have a 37 gallon tank stocked with inhabitants, 2 female Leopard Geckos, anywhere from a dozen to 2 dozen crickets at any time (food for the crickets - but we have to care for them as well to keep them alive - it's like camping in my house all year round!), an ant farm that keeps getting restock with ants - something I wouldn't care if it got accidentally misplaced in the trash and then of course wehave our 2 doxie wanna-be's (NOT!) Tigger and Pooh.

They are not small cats, Buddy weighs 14 pounds, last year they weighed in at 15 and over 16 pounds, I wouldn't be surprised if Pooh was close to 18, she's huge. They are awesome cats, you've never seen an animal love a human quite like the way Tigger loves my oldest son, it is amazing to see them together! They are sisters, identicals in stripes, but Pooh is gray and cream and Tigger is brown with dark chocolate brown stripes.

I have one dachsie, one betta at home and a black moor at work on my desk.

When I was on vacation last week, my co-workers did not want my fish to die and face the wraith of Donna so he got fed quite alot. He seems to be bigger than when I left too by a lot for a little fish! :eek:

Looks like I"m in the majority here. I have 5. Four are mine and one is a foster for DROH. Of course, my foster is 13 or more and probably won't get adopted and will just live with me which is okay. She's a sweetie.

1 2.5 gallon tank: One female beta, Julia (Romeo died :-( )

We have a zoo here, too. Lemme see......Nelly rottie/shepherd mix; Skittles the Queen dachsie; Kane (the big red machine) dachsie/mix; Ron the bunny; Hennifer the rat; Lestat the parakeet (also had a Louis parakeet who passed away); 2 bettas; 1 mini frog; and the kids have a 10 gallon aquarium with a bunch of goldfishies. We had an iguana, too--but gave him to a friend who was MUCH more experienced in iguana care than I.

In the past we've had rats, hamsters, gerbils, a few ferrets, pygmy goats (two of which were named Fifty and Something because fifty something was the number of animals we had at the time), a horse, sugar gliders, various birds, rabbits, guinea pigs and prob a few other things I'm forgetting about not to mention other ponies, dogs, cats, deer etc. that have passed away. Whew!

Well, you guys are including everything - so if that's the case, we have two dachsies (Jack and Lexie), 14 chickens and 5 guineas. Only our dachsies have names - the rest are just anonymous. We occasionally have our neighbor's sweet cat visit, whose name is Cricket. She's really cool - but Jack and Lexie scare her to death, so she doesn't visit very often.

I have four pets, all rescues: Tiger - a 6 year old maine coon, Jake - a 2 year old black lab, Moses - a one year old tuxedo kitty, and now Lucy.. my only girl.. princess of quite-a-lot.. a 1 year old LH red dachie. (she may be dapple - I haven't figured that out yet) :o
