Bedtime Without a Blanket?????

I had put Maggie's quilt that she sleeps on (under) every night in the wash when I got home this afternoon. At bedtime, it wasn't dry, and her very warm fluffy bed was without a quilt. She walks up to it and then stares at me - like WELL?? I say "Go to bed" and she just keeps staring at me. Then it dawns on me that she wants a blanket, so I rummage in the closet and bring out a fresh cozy flannel blanket and lay on her bed. She prisses right up on it and curls up without so much as a thank you!! <sigh> those little doxie gals!
