Badger starts the first formal step in his agility training this week... I'm excited!!!! :bounce: :bounce: I hope he is. We went to watch an agility match this weekend and Badger was unable to just sit and watch the dogs running. He started howling and barking and generally driving me crazy :). I think he really wanted to be in the ring running rather than watching. He'll have to pass kindergarten to move up to the next class. Wish us luck!!!

Best of luck to the two of you!!! Sounds exciting! I would lvoe to see an agility match in person. You folks in Texas have it made with Doxie events it seems. Doesn't seem to be much around here. There was the Doxie picnic in NJ last weekend. Wanted to go but couldn't attend as my parents were visiting then. I would love to have Buddy involved in something like agility, I think he'd do well. Maybe not, but it would be fun to try! Good luck with Badger. Any way to get pics of him?

We are sooooooooo jealous. We really want to get Pixel into agility I'm sure he'd love it (as I'm sure Badger will love it too!)
Have a super fun time....don't forget to get pictures for us!!!

That's so cute that he is so excited! Karen, where do you take your dogs for the classes? I promised Napoleon we'd do bunches of fun stuff when he was all better, so I should start looking before he starts hounding me! :D

Good Luck Karen and Badger!
Lucy is really upset tonight... it was agility class night and with all the rain (it is still pouring down) it was cancelled. She is so bummed about the rain deal!

Courtknee we go to Best Friends Fun Farm (http://www.bestfriendsagility.com/index.html) It's in McKinney. Some folks come from quite a ways to get there because Elizabeth is a really great instructor. If you ever attend an agiltiy match in the area you can tell the Best Friends folks, they are the ones wearing the Yellow and Black shirts.
And Rena.. one of the great things about this school is that they have a big barn and when it rains classes are held in there.

Sandi,
Try going to the AKC Event Search (http://www.akc.org/dic/events/search/) Put in the type of event, your state or surrounding states and the time frame.. you'll pull up lot's of stuff

Oh that place looks great and the rates seem really reasonable. But no weekend classes, meaning we can't go since I work at night... :( Thanks for the info though!

Well.. e-mail her. She has been trying to get some daytime classes set up.. she also does private lessons... but those get expensive. The classes aren't held on weekends because that's when the meets are held. Elizabeth has a few dogs that she runs and she also does a lot of judging.
