We are waiting to see if Frank the movie critic is going to have trouble sleeping tonight. We were channel surfing a little while ago and I stopped at Hitchcock's "The Birds". Frank was on my lap at the time and we tuned in just as the birds were attacking the town and the gas station burst into flames. Frank watched the bird attacks with great interest and occasionally looked towards the front door with a very worried look on his face. A few minutes ago he left the room as the birds were attacking the home near the end of the movie. He first went and got into his kennel and then he finally ask to go out. Wish us luck tonight. I guess I've been a bad daddy letting too young a boy watch a horror film.

Tom,
I caught soem of that movie too, I was flicking between The Birds and The Excorsist. Talk about a scary night. What would Frank think of Linda Blair spinning her head all the way around and spitting out green stuffhttp://dachsie.org/ubb/smilies/sick.gif

Tell Frank to do what happens at our house.
Mommy likes scary movies. So Mommy and Henry curl up for a real suspenseful one.
Daddy hates scary movies....So he and Jakey head off to the other room....
You know you have hit parenthood when you start refering to yourself in third person! <IMG SRC="http://dachsie.org/ubb/cwmsmilies/cwm43.gif" border=0>

Greta and Baylea wouldn't consider any other opinion on films but Frank's.
Now that we have the wonderfull newspaper, I think Mary would be missing a good thing if she didn't offer Frank the job of Art and Entertainment columnist.
I hope she reads this.

The good news is Frank slept soundly curled up in his favorite place right behind my knees. I guess his stress was short lived. Perhaps once he got brave enough to go our and just found the cold air and snow but no birds lurking to get him he felt safe again.
