Just a short note to let you all know I am back home amidst my puppers and happy as a clam. Being at Ken's recuperating is just what I needed that first week....but, now I need my babies. As you would expect, they all snubbed me when I got home. L J was the worst...you would think he'd been through an Inquisition while I'd been gone. Little snot! :fierce:

Ken stayed a while with me until the pups calmed down and then it was nappy time for me. :sleep004: :sleep004: Penny (Kahns mom and a newbie) is my pet sitter and has been doing a wonderful job....except she came here this morn about 6am.... :yikes: I told her I'd take her on a tour of the board this afternoon as it is a bit confusing to her. She's been great with my babies and they adore her...She even cleaned my house! How cool is THAT?! :bowing2: :bowing2:

I will say one thing, being at Ken's was quite tranquil and being home is definately back in the action. It's going to take me a few days to readjust.

And another thing: You all are just the best board anyone could hope for. Ken now understands why I love this place and all of you so very much. The support and humor has been greatly needed and I thank you all for welcoming Ken and helping him feel right at home. And for keeping me in your thoughts and prayers. I truly believe that it helped me get that great post-op report! Rayz are magical, and they really work!

I'm going to cruise the board for a bit then plop back in bed with Sophie for a while. I'll check back in this afternoon.

Thank you everyone for your love and support and silliness....Couldn't have made it without you! Hugs and love.... :hugs1: :hugs1:

Mary - we are all so glad to hear that you're home and feeling great! A little dachsie love will just be the icing on the cake after all the incredible TLC you got from Ken (his posts notwithstanding)!

I'll try and give you a call this weekend to discuss the allergy issues!

More :rayz: :rayz: :rayz: to feel better!

Glad to have you back. Ken's post were very entertaining I bet he could give some good guidance to the pups postings in DWD:D. Take care of yourself and try not to over do things.

Welcome back Mary! Glad to hear you are going ok and back home among the kids!

Was the proctologist able to remove the crutch from Ken's posterior or did you have to get a new pair?

We are so happy to see you! Of course, the pups are just trying to pretend they didn't miss you (especially Mama's Boy L J). Ken is a nut and we thoroughly enjoy his presence on the board!!! I hope you can extract the crutch from his hind end... he's gonna be knocking stuff over and making dents in the walls otherwise. :circle:

Welcome back, Mary. We've missed you here. A pet sitter that cleaned your house!?! I agree :bowing2: :bowing2: Sounds like you're on your way to a full recovery. Some dachsie snuggles will help that along. Sending more healing rayz :rayz: :rayz: :rayz: :rayz:

It's good to have you back in the harness? leash? collar?

I know you are glad to be back in a clean home - wow, is that ever wonderful to have a pet sitter who cleans?

If you get a chance this afternoon, someone had a question about feeding large dog food to dachsies, and you may have some good input!

I am so glad that you are back on the Board. I know you enjoyed your week of pampering!

Of course your puppers will are going to pout, they wanted to go Ken's house and watch the show.

Be sure that you gets lots of cuddles and naps with your babies
