A sleepover this weekend.....

Moxie, the female mini dachshund of a co-worker, is coming to spend the weekend tomorrow! I am rather apprehensive, she's never even visited us, but the house sitter cancelled at the last minute and poor Moxie cried non-stop in the cage last time she was boarded at the local groomer's! It was cancel the trip to Quebec or find someone to puppy sit! (I've met her at her home - she's a real sweetie, I just don't know how she'll behave with Penny and Maggie - or should I say I don't know how THEY'LL behave with her!)
At least we have a large house and 4 dachsie lovers! If the 3 girls don't hit it off we'll just have to divide the house into zones with dog snugglers in each zone!!!

Heidi, it sounds like fun! Hope your girls are happy to have a slumber party friend! Arnold often has overnights here, and all the dogs love it (although Farfel gets worried sometimes because Arnold also loves to cuddle up REAL close). The only problem I have is sleeping in a bed with three dachshunds, all of whom like to pile up on top of all available warm bodies.... http://dachsie.org/ubb/smilies/sleep.gif

Hooray - All 3 dogs are getting along well! Moxie is whining a lot though, I think she wonders what the heck she's doing here!
It was fun snuggling all 3 on the couch last night as I read (well tried to read) a little before bed.
I have to take them outside in shifts - when I took all 3 Maggie and Moxie were so busy playing that they forgot why they were out there! http://dachsie.org/ubb/smilies/smile.gif
I am enjoying Moxie but I think I've discovered that I'm a 2 dog girl!

Sounds like a really successful sleepover!! Funny, with my girls, they can be a bit on the unfriendly side with other breeds of dogs but other doxies they seem to be very nice. Moxie......what a CUTE name.
