I have to vent. It is 84 darn degrees outside. My A/C in still running non stop and the humidity is enough to take your breath away. AND IT'S NOVEMBER! I know all of you up north want to come down here and strangle me for whining about that.....but......well, when you come down, can you bring some of that cold air w/you? Halloween weekend was MISERABLE. First because of all the darn confusion as to what town was having trick or treat on what night, THEN because of the heat. October for us was the hottest on record. I know there are other dbbers living down south who have GOT to be as miserable as me.......right?.....right? Or am I just nuts, like my husband says? He has lived in the south all his life and just doesn't know any better. I hale from Maine and Boston.....I remember what it was like to have FOUR SEASONS (vague memory but it is still there). I just want the heat to go away........ :crying:

I know how you feel. It has been like that for my area of Arizona until this morning! It is now 52 degrees and I am freezing! :yikes: It isn't supposed to get more than 65 degrees today! I'm going to be so cold.....brrrrr. :yikes:

In PA, yesterday it was 74+ degrees. I was in a tank top and capris. Usually it's in the 50s. Today is a little better with a high of 64.
I kinda like it since I hate the cold!!!

It is supposed to hit Texas tomorrow! Summer is still here today, but a change is coming from the west! I understand that Denver has snow today... and I am headed there on Friday.
Vent any time. I wish I had your problem with the heat, I know I couldn't take the humidity. We're suppose to get to 70 deg it's not the usual 70 because the wind is SO cold. Hope you get relief soon. :D

It's 84 here today- but I really can't complain. :)
I mean... LAST week was BAD- really hot days. 84 is livable and much better than we normally get. Of course... next week, we're only supposed to have highs in the 70's!! Oh my!!!! :D

84 degrees in November is just about perfect! :D It's why I live in Texas. This is the best time of year because it's warm without humidity (usually - it was last week anyway!)

It's 67 and raining today. Yesterday was beautiful. High 70's/low 80's and sunny. I sat out on the deck in my bathing suit and read for a couple of hours and got a tan! I'll take it.

Freezing New Yorker. As a native Buffalonian, I can't complain about this fall. It was 70 on Saturday! That's probably a record. Today it's cold though. My hands are freezing as I type this.
Careful what you wish for.

But I will not complain. Last week on the FL gulf coast was beautiful... this week is a little warmer (right now it is 80 and supposedly "feels like" 84 - thank you, weather.com, for telling me how I "feel" :D ). Next week is supposed to be high in mid-70s.
However, this is why we moved here... because it is summer all year. :sunny: I get VERY annoyed in winter, because it is ALWAYS in the 50's. 50's confuse me. Jacket? No jacket? Beach? No beach? Windows open? Heater on? Plants inside? Plants outside?
I am from Missouri and like COLD weather. I went home in December last year and it was 6 degrees and WONDERFUL!! Snow is fine too. But I do NOT like ice storms, or endless gray cold rainy days. So I will enjoy feeling like it's 84 for a while... and will try to visit my parents in between ice storms. :D

This morning as I was getting ready for work they threatened that it would be rainy and cool tomorrow. Tonight they changed their minds, it is going to be another beautiful day in sunny Georgia. Oh well...

No more snow! No more snow!
Sand storm is better than a snow storm any day to me. I hate bundling up!

I just want you to know, as I sit here just me and my goose bumps, that I am blowing a big, huge raspberry your way! Last thing I want to hear about right now is heat. I am frozen and have been since this morning when I waited for the bus, late of course, in my jammies in 30 degree, windy weather. We made it up to a whopping high of 43, but it was so darn damp, it never felt that way. I try so hard to save money and conserve oil while everyone is away. I normally keep the house at 63 during the day when it's just me, today I was just so cold, chilled to the bones and couldn't (still haven't) warm up. I turned the heat up to 70. Bad, I know, will cost me dearly, but I was still cold even then. Off to bed and really NOT looking forward to taking off my layers to put my jammies on. So tempting to sleep in sweats! Buddy had no interest in coming out of his kennel, he stayed wrapped up in flannel most of the day. I can't wait till this weekend, our fireplace insert is being installed and I am going to light a fire, sit by it and hopefully be WARM!!!

Gee, as I look at the WeatherBug on my computer, it says 70* right now. It does get to 43* at night here. :D
If that were me there, I'd be blowing everyones $$ just on trying to stay warm! 70* is about it for me in the house. I used to sleep in sweats in Utah when i went there for 2 years! Chapo would not have liked it there! He is like me, so he's definitely my pup! Isn't fleece and flannel wonderful? I'd love a fireplace, even a plug in fireplace!! Thinking of you in sunny AZ, while wear sandals and a t-shirt. :wavey: :fierce: :D

You got your wish.
We had cold weather yesterday and with the wind, it was really something.
I am ready for it to be fall, with some cooler weather. I do not however miss the Colorado snow, or the idiots that drive in it.
My brother still lives in CO, so if I get homesick for the cold, I will visit. LOL
