Jen maybe this might help -good to do for baby humans too.
Get one of those cup-holder screw in hooks and screw it up high on the wall at the side of the window so you can loop the cords over it (or rest the adjusting rod on it) so they cannot be reached by the doggies.
Also, have you tried spraying the blinds with bitter apple?

Jen,
I wish I had an answer for you. The only real damage Frank has done is chew up the mini blinds in my living room. I'm waiting to see if there are any repeats before replacing them. If Franks case it happened twice in the first month or so after I got him I failed to securely latch the door of his crate and he escaped while I was at work. To reach the mini blinds he had to stand up on his hind legs. I guess he just wanted to look out. The existing blinds were not cheap and I would like to replace them with another good pair. Could you try coating the blinds with bitter apple or bitter end?
Good luck,
Tom

Thanks yall... i have the things you are talking about Krista to wrap the cords around... i dont think they use the cords to get them down ... they always seem to get them when im back in the laundry room with the washer and dryer running... they jump up there and some how pull them down at the bottom and then bend and rip them... i just got done soaking them with Fooey (its supposed to be 10x's worse than bitter apple) we shall see... im not buying any new ones until i see if this works.
Thanks
