Well that are lots of positive things to look at. They are a bit more independant - that means more time for yourself! My kids are 9 & 11 and I've THIRLLED that their finally over! I miss the 'baby' time only. The toddler years, no thanks, been there done that!!!

Thanks for the birthday wishes! I am actually having a it of a hard time dealing with him growing up, enjoying it, but it saddens me as well. I whizzed through this stage with my other two as all my kids are quite close in age. I am loving the toddler stage. He is such a love bug. He is very much mamas boy, loves to hug, snuggle and kiss, favorite thing to do is go grocery shopping with me. He started 3 yr old preschool this year and that was so hard, for me at least, he loves it. If his personality was different, I might be eager for the toddler stage to end, but he is so different than my other two, plus I have time to enjoy it as well.
Have to celebrate though, for the first time in over 7 years, I don't have a single diaper or pull up in my house. We just said goodbye to them for night time so we are diaper free, let's see it was early 1997 the last time I didn't have a diaper close by!

:partytim: Happy Birthday to your son, 4 is a fun age. :birthday: We're trying to get used to having NO kids, the last one left in Oct for full time Army, so it's just us and the 3 doxies and the crabby old (17 yrs). Now if I can only learn to cook for 2 again... .
