I had NO IDEA that a litter could have more than one sire!!! Having never bred a dog or been interested in the genetic fine points of triple-decker-double-dapple-doo-dah dachshunds, I am totally ignorant about all aspects of these shenanigans!

Because they are from questionable background and have just had shots, deworming and there was a flea issue, I am keeping them quarantined in their own little (laundry) room.
However, I have been given the dachsie equivalent of the 3rd degree by G & B. The sniff test. No wonder they have used Dachshunds as drug dogs!!http://dachsie.org/ubb/smilies/rolleyes.gif
As soon as I can identify them by traits and behavior, you, my friends, are going to name them.

They are adorable, Roxane. So, the papa's were traveling salesmen working the neighborhood in tandem? Geez, haven't see the two dad's one mom thing in years. Saw it first at the vet clinic I worked with. There was a champion golden having an emergency c-section and weren't the owners surprised <IMG SRC="http://216.74.85.16/ubb/cwmsmilies/cwm24.gif" border=0> when they had 6 little golden pups and three "what the hell are those?" pups. The looks on their faces were priceless!

Can't wait to hear how Baylea and Greta the Stout like their new baby brudders. Send more pictures!

Oh, Mary, I can just imagine the quandry the Golden people were in. And how to explain that to their friends??????
Today is the Big Day. Baby gate in doorway for the initial introduction of G and B to the little guys.
Will try to get some photos.
Also we need to start working on some names. Will start a new thread that won't take so long to load,just for name suggestions.
