My two play a lot right now, but it requires my presence. They will wrestle and chase each other around the coffee table in the morning (so cute!), but as soon as I go in the shower all bets are off. Must wait for mom... Then while I'm still toweling off, the game resumes.:bounce:

Their favorite game is if I'm sitting on the floor. Teeth clicking across my leg. Of course, once in a while someone will 'bite' my arm (very gently) by mistake...

I'm so glad they play. Even though Rieke at six doesn't want to enough for Tinki. Then Tinki barks at me to make her play. Thank goodness Rieke can escape onto the couch, where she is safe from Tinki trying to take her legs off. Why always the legs :dizzy:

More yes than no. Oh they play by themselves quite often, especially in the yard, but the play is much rowdier, much louder, much faster, and even meaner when there is someone to step in or egg them on. If my husband is around, he can get them going so much that they need a nap when they ae done! With me, like Kat's monsters, I get bitten. Oh no one ever means to hurt me, but OUCH! I do tend to get right in the way! I know they plan this! :devil1:

Isabel will only play in my presence. Otherwise, she is sitting waiting for me or sleeping on my bed.

Oscar and Buck are still young puppers. They wrestle and do zoomies - they tire a bit and pick up a toy to chew on - and then it starts all over again.

When I have to leave the room...I tell them "I want a nice Sit and Stay and you'll get treats!" I babygate the doorway so they don't follow me and when I come back - they are sitting by the babygate waiting for me. Of course they get their click and their treat! :)

The wrestling and zoomies start again for a while and then it's nappy time in their crates.

My two don't need an audience - they'll have fun even if I'm in another room and they can't see me - which is great, because then I can presume they play with each other when nobody is home.

Henry will play by himself or if Molly's (corgi mix) in the mood she will play with him or myself. Henry loves to entertain himself .

I am assuming they play when I am not home as toys are moved around. Valentin gets bored and/or in a snit if I am not home when he thinks I should be home. I find the kitchen garbage strewn all over sometimes when I get home. :faint: Garbage seems to be his favourite "toy".

Upon my arrival there are mad zoomies and general tumbling about from Valentin and Heidi (YES :cheer:Heidi is so mobile now with her back leg hop that she zoomies with Valentin). Diasy the foster does not like zoomies and barks at my two as they race around the apartment. Daisy unfortunately does not know how to play and Heidi is selfish with the toys. Valentin only takes one of "Heidi's" toys (read ALL the toys are Heidi's - atleast according to her) and runs with it when he wants her to chase him and play.

Dixie LOVES to play. She just figured out that her toys are kept in a basket in our tv cabinet. She is always on her hind legs sniffing where the basket is. When you ask her if she wants "the ball" she takes off with the zoomies and comes right up to me and sits and stares at me.
Her fave game is bug the big grey cat we have. She sort of dances all around him dipping her head at him while doing this silly jump thing she has. It is too cute. He takes it for awhile and then gives her a couple of swats on the head. She will just sit down and look at him like what did you do that for? Then she is right back at it.
Our big black cat doesn't have much to do with her yet. The cat just sits and watches. But since black cat is the lover of the cats, I'm sure someday soon those two will be snuggling once Dixie gets out of her puppy stage.

Oh, definitely! Ringo will play "by himself" as long as I'm in the room with him. If I'm not, then he will come and get me. He's so hilarious when he plays, he digs in and shakes his blankets, and pounces on all his toys like a cat, all the while making cute little growly noises. It is truly better than anything on tv, he makes me laugh so hard I cry!

:bouncy1::bouncy1: We only have one dachsie but we also have Lily the cat and to be honest I do not think Lily knows that Annie is not another wierd looking cat and Annie is not sure what Lily is. They play together at times and Annie is pretty rough. At other times Annie will just play ball or with her chew by herself. However playing outside with Dad is top sport of all, stick ball is on anytime rain or shine hot or cold. We expect to get a pal for Annie but she seems to accept the cat as one of her own.:0210::0210:
