My sister and her partner just rearranged the furniture in their den adjoining the kitchen. This necessitated moving the food bowl and crate of their long-haired dachsie Lucy (aka "Princess Shewanna"). For two days Lucy has been doing a drama queen double-take every time she walks past her crate ("what's it doing THERE?!!") and sniffing disapprovingly at everything that's been moved. This morning she took hold of the rug her food bowl sits on and flipped it over, upending all the kibbles onto the rug, where she sat eating them looking extremely pleased with herself!

Hubby and I recently moved, and when we mover the dogs ottoman, they literaly stared at us like what the heck are you doing! When I got to the door to carry it out, they started barking at me. When we moved their crate out of the house, you would have thought we took their first born. Creatures of habit I suppose.

When we first brought Dolly home, we found out quickly that she was a dog of many talents, one being ReDecorator Extaordinaire. First room on her list was the dining room. This was necessitated when the sugar bowl was found on the floor and all the sugar was licked out. SOLUTION: Move sugar bowl. Second room was the bedroom. We have a slipper bench that USED to be at the foot of our bed. PROBLEM: A certain doglet would climb the bench to access the bed and then not be able to get down. AFFECT: Pee in the bed and one unhappy doglet. SOLUTION: Move slipper bench to under the window. Now doesn't that look much better? So light and airy. Anyone else have "redecorators" in the family?
