I found these mini tennis balls in the Dr. Foster and Smith catalog for cats. They totally get my dachsie Penny's two paws up approval! They are about 1.5" in diameter, about half the size of a regular tennis ball. They are sturdy too, just like a regular tennis ball...no cheapie foam for the pup to chew through immediately! She loves them! They are a little big for her yet, as she is only 7 1/2 weeks old, but they'll be perfect when she's an adult! Check em out!

(if link is broken, go to http://www.drsfostersmith.com/ and click on cats, then search for mini tennis balls!)

I get some for Roxy at Petsmart that are about that size and she loves them. She can carry them in her mouth and they are virtually indestructable.

They also have flavored ones at target.

I got some for Tia once from PetSmart, she didn't like them. She thinks bigger is better:D If I rolled the regular tennis ball and the small one down the hall at the same tme, she always brings the regular one.

My mom got the pups some of those. The only who plays with them is Badger.. he loves to rip the cover off :fierce:

Yes, Petsmart and Petco both have them. Gunner loves taking the cover off them :puppy:

My Haylee has some of those also. She enjoys them ALOT!One draw back is that they are just small enough to fit under the couch. She gets quite upset when they roll under there.

some of them, but the King of destruction Kamper had them ripped up in no time flat.
I need something made from steel for him :dizzy: :dizzy:

I found these at a little store where I live----in the clearance section---for $2.00 for a three pack. (Guess who bought about 6 packs????)

but then she decided it was more fun to rip the fuzz off them than roll them under the furniture... and I like the fuzz-ripping even less than I liked fishing them out from under things. So we have moved on to other, larger balls w/o fuzz.

We had some that were yellow and orange fuzz. One is left! They were great for playing fetch, but Chapo has taken off the covers and they go bye-bye in the trash then!

Speck and Peewee also rip all the fuzz off the tennis balls, then Speck rips a big whole in the rubber part, so in the trash they go. I need to find some dirt cheap since they don't last but about 3 days if that.

GRRR those dang balls. My vaccum just broke and I have fuzz all over the house thanks to a Mr. Jimmy. He loves the balls, I could, or actually my vaccum could do without ;)
