We are SO miffed!!!
Last weekend, the Chicago Tribune Magazine was devoted entirely to dogs. There was even a photo of Farfie's beloved trainer, Steve. AND...there was a five-page spread of various dogs posed with exTREMEly expensive doggy paraphernalia--a pug sitting in a stack of Sterling silver dog bowls, a smooth fox terrier and his $750 Hermes leash, etc. All very snazzy professional photos.
Included in this batch was a picture of two dachshunds wearing super-expensive sweaters. The dachshunds in the photo belong to my neighbors, David and David. I have mentioned these very dogs in a thread dealing with training (or lack of it)--Olive and Otto, the terrors of the neighborhood!!
WELL!!! http://dachsie.org/ubb/smilies/disgust.gif The extremely photogenic Farfel and well-behaved Miss Peaches Marie were very put out that these dreadful wieners had gotten their pictures in the magazine and no one had called us!!
Found out, from neighborhood gossip, that one of the Davids, who used to work for an ad agency, is now...guess what!...the art director for the Chicago Tribune Magazine!!! http://dachsie.org/ubb/smilies/angry.gif
