Yep- I promised my parents (who haven't seen me for at Christmas or Thanksgiving for 2 years straight) that I would do this one at home. We WILL be spending NY's eve together, of course (gotta have that midnight kiss!) and my birthday on the 4th together, though. :)

Simply put- it just makes sense for me to go there. :)

If Bob comes down, we have three choices- shack up with my parents; sleep in my empty, still carpetless, soon to be listed house; or the logical solution- get a hotel. AND he has to board the dogs. AND, it's generally cheaper to fly OUT of Orlando than into it. AND... it's easier for me to take leave than for him to take leave (and he can usually work from home). :D

And snow is pretty stuff! We don't get it here, much. It makes a place actually LOOK like winter! Sure... Ohio is sorely lacking a decent beach. But sheesh... what would I do without O-town's beloved tourists, hurricanes, tolls, and cockroaches... :scratch:

Heehee... no, I will be home for Christmas (I promised!) as long as weather lets me! :)

We just added a little weekend trip. December is such a nice time of year, I'm out of school after my final on Monday, and 20 something days seemed tooooo loooooong...

I'm only up for the weekend, then back down for a week, then back up on the 28th. I know it's crazy. But so what. :D
