Just me wondering if this is a normal dachsie behavior, its so cute. When we give Tasha a toy after walkies, she'll toss, and throw and chase, but she almost always takes it in her mouth, and rolls on her back while holding it between her teeth. We have treadmill mats down in her play area (noise issues with the downstairs neighbor :( ) so I never know if she's rolling because she's happy, or because she's itchy. But doing it with a toy in her mouth is a whole new level of cute!

Does it look something like this?

He does have a toy, and he rolls around and scratching and biting his toy....I hope it's normal...if not, I need help too, because Pixel does it all the time. :circle:

quite normal.
Mine do that too. Just so excited with playing with their toys.
Such a cute picture.

That looks like it's a lot of fun to watch. I would think any playtime activity would be normal.

Harley will do the same thing and sometimes hold up his toy or treat in the air in his paws.
It's so cute to watch!!

Yup, Tasha does just what Pixel is doing--only with a toy. Sometimes she drops it if the rolling gets too exuberant...So cute!

Angel keeps forgetting that she doesn't have opposable thumbs when she tries to hold things. :)
She can't destroy toys quite as well while on her back, though... so if it is a Destroying Mission, she will approach it right-side-up.

Gidget rolls on her toys, too. But, I always thought it was her way of marking it as hers.
