Guess what?? Both dachsies are curled up under Rudy's cow blankie and sleeping!!! Last Saturday Rudy threw a fit when Roscoe tried to get under it with him. I put the blankie up until today, and it looks like that helped. They also have shared toys and nylabones with each of them chewing on it at the same time. SO VERY CUTE!!!!
Of course, they are boys and still play very rough too (squirt gun close at hand), but they also lick eachother. I caught Rudy grooming Roscoe earlier today *sigh* so happy to have two.
Roscoe is also doing well in the pottytraining area - no potty in the crate even after 8 hours at night. He has had 2-3 mishaps in the house, but I caught him each time and out he went. I think he's pretty intelligent too. He managed to escape the x-pen, so he's crated when I'm at work now. He is already responding to sit and come too!!! Sorry to go on, I'm just a proud mom.
