I am not going to use this forum regularly to talk about movies. But I am all the time on the look out for fresh, innovative movies, that are more than just your typical "fluff". I found that with "The Life of David Gale" featuring Kevin Spacey (if you have seen it, rent it soon! My husband and I watched it twice, then watched all the DVD extras!)
I rented a movie this weekend I had seen the trailer for at the theater, it was called "Maria Full of Grace" it is an independent film picked up by HBO movies. It isn't a family movie, as it is about a Columbian girl that makes the decision to become a drug mule, but I found this story very sad and compelling. The movie is all in Spanish (which I loved) which added to its realism, and the commentary by the director on the features is really interesting.
Anyways, so many times people miss real gem movies because they aren't big box office smashes, but this one won critical acclaim at both Sundance and Berlin Film festivals, just wanted to pass this on.

You are welcome to mention movies that are worth seeing. I'll have to check out both of these movies.
