A fun school assignment

I have to tell you one more thing about my ten year old niece who is in love with Otis. Her mom mailed me a school assignment that Madeline did. They were to choose any object and make a diagram and identify the parts. Now, I would naturally think of an inanimate object, a bike, or machine, etc..
Madeline chose Otis. She drew him and identified all parts, including an arrow to the mouth, labeled "doggy breath!" She then wrote a paragraph describing her Aunt Anita's wonderful weiner dog, Otis! It was so cute. Of course it is on my frig. Otis recently received a postcard in the mail from Madeline--his first mail! She is a bit
obsessed with her new cousin!!
