Maggie has been doing so much better these last few weeks. Maybe it's the spring sunshine, or perhaps we've finally got the right combination and dosage of meds, but she's a perky little dog again!
Anyway, today as I was hanging my clean laundry out on the clothesline, Maggie attacked my nightgown and won! She looked so cute and healthy rolling around in the grass with the dreaded "enemy nightie" that I ran inside for my camera. By the time I got back outside she'd pulled a sweatshirt and a towel down, too!
I couldn't bring myself to scold her for jumping and playing like a healthy dachsie again, so my husband and I plan to raise the clothesline a little bit this weekend! http://dachsie.org/ubb/smilies/blushie.gif I know that that's crazy - but I'd rather stretch a little than tell Maggie not to play! I suspect that it may become our habit from now on to leave the occasional old towel hanging a bit lower than absolutely neccessary........
