We are Sad today

We have lost our Friend this New Years Eve :sob: , Sir Little Skip,
Skipper for short. He was the best dog a person could ever have.He gave us three loving years of his life, full of love, fun, companionship. My daughter is having a hard time understanding why , Skipper had to leave us, I tell her God had a special spot for him to fill up there, and that Skipper will always be with us in our hearts and memories. We called him our little handsome man, we will miss him so much, but I know he has earned his wings :angel1: and will fly by our heart and in our dreams, we love you Skipper, may you rest in peace now.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I know what you are going through because I lost my little Cooler last May. I hope that you will be able to remember the joy of having Skipper and be able to smile when you remember him.

Maybe you and your daughter could make up a journal with memories and pictures of Skipper. This way, she'll always feel like she still has Skipper with her.

I lost my little Tristan in May of 2003... it is so very painful and a lot of times other people don't understand how difficult it is.
