That's great.. working is a good way to figure out what's going on. I'm anxious to hear how Lucy does in the fun match. NADAC has a good variety of fun events.

Merry and I are entered in an AKC Agility show that same weekend in Mckinney!

OK... Lucy is doing the fun match on Friday and probably entering Jumpers, Tunnelers, and possibly Novice A Open (she is not big on weaves or the A frame yet). She has her NADAC registration number, so we are set. I have to work all 3 days. We will see. I think I will take her big ex-pen so I can work.

She is doing Jumpers early on Saturday (starts at 8 AM with 8" elite, open, and then novice) and Tunnelers late in the day. I signed her up on Sunday too, just in case she can complete the Jumpers course without faults... Tunnelers would require 3 runs without faults to complete novice. Actually, I figure she is doing this for fun. Today, I started out letting her do everything she wanted to do while we set up the course... then I asked her to work and she seemed to enjoy it a lot better. Will probably do that with her before class tomorrow night too.

May the sun shine on you alllllllllll! It should be lots of fun so just get out your track shoes so you can keep up. People don't realise how fast those long little doggies can go unless they have seen them in action.
:appl: :cheer: I wish we could be there to cheer you on!

Lucy is either on or off. Monday night she was perfect... Wednesday, we went to the advanced class with new dogs and new people and she was just there to have fun and be social. Actually, she did have fun doing the tunnelers course... and yes, she runs like a little devil when she is having fun... 15 tunnels to do and so little time! I am exhausted today. She had me out of breath!!!

I don't know if I should tell you this, but in the uncropped photo, you can see my foot -- I am laying flat on the ground ( because the grass was wet and I did not have the best shoes on!) I think she was laughing at me and telling me that I need to do a better job of keeping up!
