We received a Sympathy card from our vet today, it had a beautiful poem in it, it read like this..

Time to Say Good-bye

As we lay our hands upon you,
Before your final rest,
Our hearts surround to love you,
And thank you for your your best.
Our home you watched& Treasured,
our lives you truly blessed.
Lessening now your burdens,
We tend your tired bones.
Let us be your pillow,
Then wings to take you home.
Listen for God's calling,
Sweet promises of peace.
Old friend, Leap to Heaven,
Suffering Released!

I thought that was the most comforting poem to me,
I felt a feeling of relief, I have been so upset, some people ask me Why do you grieve so much for a animal, Well there not just an animal, there our family , one of our children, and they should be missed , just as much as the rest of our family when they go on to the other side. I loved my Skipper so much, and now I can move on and feel that he has taken his Leap, and is feeling just fine now.

How to post a picture

First thing is to upload your pictures to one of the free photo album sites like :

The ones below will let you make an online photo album. These sites DO NOT let you link the pictures back to here, but they are still free... and still work great for albums!

http://www.photoaccess.com

It may NOT be a passworded site. Anyone MUST be able to surf to the pics.

Then (assuming everyone knows the terms LeftClick and RightClick) go to the album containing the photo to post, RightClick the photo and select View Image from the resulting little menu that pops up . . . the result will be a web page with the URL you need . . . place the entire URL between the tags & in the post and the picture will appear in the post.

For Folks with photoisland: Once you have uploaded your picture to your album in photoisland click on an individual picture and it opens large on your screen scroll down to the bottom to PHOTO OPTIONS then go to Link for auction, ect. and click on it. a box will open that says Establishing a Temporary Link copy the url in the box then go to post on DBB and click IMG and paste the url address in the box
