I did something very stupid yesterday and instead of saving all of my pictures from Oct-Dec 2004 to a CD, I managed to delete them all.

How do I retrieve the pictures I posted to DBB as a jpeg file? I can do a save on each picture but it is an art or bitmap file. Then I cannot figure out out how to convert it back to jpeg. Remember I am NOT computer savvy, so i will need a very simple step by step directions.

I want Wetleys pictures PLEASE.

Thanks

Did you post them to a web site? You might need a photo program to convert them from a bmp to a jpg. I assume you are doing a right mouse click on the photo. I do the conversion in Photoshop all the time -- if you want to send me the bmp images, I can send them back to you as a jpg (or I am sure there are other folks who can do the same). I have to take Buster to his new family this afternoon and then work on agility, but I should be in this evening.

When I right click on them and select save as, they are coming up as jpg files. See if that works! Gotta go run errands and then take the boy to his new home!

when I right click, I only get two options: art or bitmap.

Yo- when you deleted them, did you delete from your hard drive or your camera?

If you deleted them from your HD- and haven't cleaned out your recycle bin- they should all be sitting in there, happily awaiting restoration. If for some reason you DID empty your recycle bin... or you deleted the camera memory... then we can work on getting these photos saved. :(

If you go to http://www.mindworkshop.com/alchemy/alchemy.html You can download an evaluation copy of Graphics Workshop Professional. It will convert any file to any format you can think of (and even some you can't) lol.

Hi Yolanda, we have a utility that can recover them off the hard-drive and another one that can retrieve them off your camera, just send us your e-mail address via PM or E-mail.

Take care,
