we just got back from our trip and i would love to share funny weiner stories. my dad has a back porch with 3 steps on it. mortimer takes them ith ease. chester will sit and the botton of the steps and wait to be carried up. i always assumed he couldn't go up or down them because of this. as i was bringing in my suitcase, he was playing in the backyard so i went up the porch and when i turned around there he was. wiggling and giggling. he also went down with no problem. the next day he sat at the top steps and waited for me to carry him!! the little stinker! he would go down when my dad was in the yard, but waited for mama if i was around. it was cute though, because when i reached for him, he jumped into my arms.

Stacey,
I have a similiar situation with our two furbabies. Suzie will go down the steps of our RV with no problems but with Caesar I have to pick him up and set him in the rig or on the ground. Last weekend while camping on the coast I needed to get Suzie out of the xpen that we carry to let them enjoy being outside with us and not being on a lead, I found Caesar on the top step waiting for me to open the door. That was and has been the only time he has done that. Yes they are really good at training us to please them.
