AKC Eukanueba Dog Show

Just wanted to remind everyone of the dog show being simulcast on Animal Planet & Discovery Channel this weekend (Saturday & Sunday evenings). Our very own Becky (dachsundrsq) will be showing! I believe the Hound Group (Bred by Exibitor) will be judged at 8pm on Saturday night according to the judging schedule on the website!

If our prayers are answered, we just might get to see Becky & Tweed!

And anyway....don't you just want to see if a dachshund can win best in group/breed/show/whatever?!?!?!?!?!?!

It's held in Tampa- and I'd planned on being there. Now- not so sure. I'll have to see how the weather is tomorrow- if it behaves like it did this morning, the 2 1/2 hour drive to Tampa will take me all day- on the ickiest of icky roads... I-4! :sick:

Either way, I'll be rooting for our Becki and her weenies! :cheer:

The AKC Agility competition is also this weekend. One of Lucy's trainers is there competing with her sheltie, who got into a herding competition with Lucy last weekend! Broadcast of best of groups is Saturday and Sunday on ANP and there is an audience participation link.

I'd plan on going too but depends all on how Sofie feels. She seems to be better today. So, I may sneek out for just dachsies. The weather is nasty. Just makes you want to curle up in bed and snuggle with fur kids.

No sympathy for you guys. Try living in upstate NY. Gunther has only his little head stuck out of the covers. Saw the dog show on TV. Boy aren't the hounds a varied crew?

I love the dog shows! I am always looking at the Doxies, and Danes!
My mom has a Beagle, and a Black Lab, so we all usually love to watch together! Good Luck to everyone that will be there, and I feel for you guys, with all of the snow! Right now, here in Texas, it is raining, and cold, although no where as cold as you have it! I wish, really that the weather would stay one temp. here, though. One day its cool, and the next its warm. My Puppers are so confused about going out, because of the weather!
