For those of you who were thinking about coming up to the Collin Cty Youth Park in McKinney. If you need to map it in MapQuest the Park is on County Rd 166 McKinney ... I don't know the street address but the road is only about a mile long... If you find County Rd 166 you'll run into the park :)
Standard starts running at 8:00 am JWW starts at 9:15
Running order both days will be
...................... Standard Jumpers W/ Weaves
Excellent 4&12" (42 dogs) (40 dogs)
Excellent 16" (19 dogs) (22 dogs)
Excellent 20" (45 dogs) (48 dogs)
Excellent 24" (35 dogs) (38 dogs)
Open 4 - 24" (49 dogs) (45 dogs)
Novice 4-24" (67dogs) (75 dogs)
Looks like Merry and I will be running after lunch time :)
Probably more like 1 or 2 in the afternoon. I think Cindi is still running Harper in Open ... that should be right around lunch time too

Awesome! Karen, we have obedience in Addison at 10 on Saturdays so we will get lunch and head up there afterwards. If you think it will be at 1 or 2 that should be perfect timing!

It's always hard to guesstimate when your group will be up .. but if you miss Standard you will at least be there for Jumpers... but I would be surprised if we did standard before 1:00.
Looking forward to seeing you and Napoleon!

Correction on the running order...
Standard is the same as below. Jumpers with weaves will have Novice Running Before Open.

i will definitely try!! We might have Dane rescue stuff to do on Sat - our foster might get adopted. I hope he does. I pray he does. If he does, we can definitely head out Saturday. If not, it might have to be Sunday, because I might have to go pick him back up Saturday.

Sounds great Karen; I'm trying to coordinating the weekend so we can be there Sat. I wanted to see Lucy & Rena but don't think I can make it down there this time.
Can't wait to see Merry again! And I finally get to meet the man... Napoleon Dynamite!!

Good Luck! I think I wish we were there... but we have to focus on doing what mom says and not what Lucy wants. The good news is that it is cold and that is when Lucy does best.

Hey Karen, is this event indoors?? I just googled it and found a site describing Collin County Youth Park as "Indoors on packed dirt, concessions, etc.".
We'll be there... with camera and empty compact flash card so we can take lots of pics. :)

Yes, it's an indoor horse arena. I don't think it's heated ... cause it gets pretty chilly in there... but at least it is out of the wind and or rain :D
It seems most of the AKC agility events in the area are there... one a month for the next few months.
There will be concessions there and also bleachers to sit on.

ARGGG Indoor horse arena with stalls in McGregor too! Oh my! Well Miss Lucy had fun during the "fun run." Run was the operative word... does yours have stalls for horses with hay? Lets see, 2 jumps, a tunnel and it was off to the horse stall. Got her on a leash in time to run through a couple other things... I AM SO NOT READY for tomorrow. May do training runs both days!
I really hope your guys do well!

Sounds like Lucy had a Big time! The Youth park as a barn separate from the arena so we don't have to worry about stalls. I can see how that would be a huge attraction to our little hounds

With the trial being in a horse arena I wonder if Merry will sporting her western look this weekend?

 Hmmm.. I better pull that out after she runs her courses else she will probably just run out of the arena :D
