Merry Has Her First 'q'!!!!!

I am so proud of my little girl! Merry got her first every 'Q' (Qualifying score) in agility today in Jumpers With Weaves. This is her first leg towards her Novice jumpers title.... And to top it all off she also came in 3rd in her height group!!!!

Icing on the cake was that we also got to meet Courtknee and Napoleon, Amy and Brooklyn and Hope and Lynn!

Napoleon and Brooklyn are every bit as cute as their pictures!

Yay Merry!!! She is such a DOLL. So tiny and so adorable. I tried to get some pics, but she was so fast I couldn't get them in focus (ok really, it was that I couldn't use my flash and I was too far away....but she WAS awesome)!

Merry is beyond adorable... and definitely her mama's girl. :heart: Courtney's right, she was too fast for photos but Lynn took a video of her 2nd run and it turned out pretty good. Karen, it's 266 MB so I'll burn it to a CD and send it to you.

It was great meeting Napoleon and Brooklyn (and Amy!) finally. Brooklyn is such a sweetheart... and even more gorgeous in person. She cracks me up the way she leans against whoever's standing next to her. :laugh:
Precious Napoleon was very tired from his obedience class this morning, but he managed to hang in there... as long as mom carried him. ;)

That is fantastic!!!!! We won't talk about Lucy, but at least she did not run out of the ring in Tunnelers. We have a long way to go to get a Q. However, we got to meet Harper's brother Maru and 2 other of Cindi's mini wires! He is very handsome. The FAST (from Fort Worth) group helped with our trials.

We got to meet Harper!! He is one handsome, adorable guy. He and Napoleon played, which might have explained why Po was so tired. And the "leaning" is a Dane thing - they all do it. Pharrell just about knocks me over when he does it, but it's very cute and sweet.

Sorry, she is out for the count and I will soon follow. In addition to her two runs, I was ring crew for elite jumpers and score runner for open combo I and II. Am timer in open combo tomorrow and gate steward for open jumpers tomorrow. I think a Q is just plain wonderful Merry.

Maru looks a lot like Harper except Maru is a little bigger. Poor Badger saw Maru at Earthdog and thought he was Harper... so he wanted to play... Maru was like. "who the heck are you!??!?!"

Maru got scared on the teeter today and later thought the dog walk was a teeter and froze. I felt so badly for him. He is a cute guy and got it together for the jumpers course so he might have a ribbon too. Only one Q and that was for a dog who is at the top of the AKC rankings, but is just starting NADAC, so she was in Novice A.
