As most of you know by now Frank is my TV hound. Friday night I picked up a copy of Lady and The Tramp II which we got a chance to watch it last night. The boys were under the covers when the movie started but Frank came out when the dog catcher first appeared. He then went into his sphinx pose for about the next fifteen minutes of the movie before loosing interest.

I'd love to see Frank in action while he reviewing movies http://dachsie.org/ubb/smilies/circle.gif
Oscar goes totally nuts barking his head off when there are dogs on tv, real dogs or cartoons, he cant stand it.

Well, since Frank didn't watch til the end, guess we will skip that movie. Have lots of faith in his opinion.http://dachsie.org/ubb/smilies/smile.gif
Dogs on the screen? Baylea could care less, Greta doesn't bark but she rushes to the screen tail wagging furiously.
Not sure what she would do with animation.
Tell Frank thanks for the heads up,
Roxane and crew

About a month ago we got surround sound for our giant hog TV. If you're watching the Animal Planet and a beetle bug crawls across the screen, the noise is picked up!

Wotan has come to love chicken clucking and dog barking on the tube. Since he has xperience with those sounds he prob. can recognize them enough to give his feedback on my sound system.

Last night we had Animal Planet on...there was a special about German Sheperds. Jake went over and sat about three feet in front of the television and watched for almost thirty minutes! And I thought nothing could get the giggle monster to sit still for long! http://dachsie.org/ubb/smilies/bounce.gif

Mandy, your are lucky that Jake sat still through the show. I suspect it was one of the Breed All About it shows that are being featured this week. I wasn't home last night so Frank missed the show. When I try to watch one of these shows Frank is very interested but he gets so excited by the dogs on TV that he was to rush barking to the front door. I seriously think Frank believes the TV is a window and if he can get outside he can go play with the other dogs. By the way our dachshund buddies lost out to the greyhounds in the top ten list as voted by viewers at the Animal Planet web site. Be sure to watch Friday night (I believe that is correct) when the Dachshund episode of Breed All About it will be on. It's a great episode and I encourage to watch if you haven't already seen it.

PS Tanner only gets excited about the TV after Frank starts barking and running to the door. Only the occasional door bell or sometimes a dog barking will make him notice the TV. Galloping horses will also set Frank off.

Tom,

You have to understand how miraculous a 30 minute sit still is for Jake...this is my guy who NEVER stops moving....He is always in motion.

The show was a Breed all about it show. Friday, huh? I would like to tape the dachshund show.
