I found a really good PDF file about Ester C and back issues in dachshunds, including a Norwegan case study I would like to share. Any idea how to do that?

Thanks

The easiest way? Open Adobe Reader at max screen size, fit the viewing window to the page size (or until however much you'd like to share is viewable- you may need to flip the page 90 degrees), and do a printscreen. Paste it into a photo editting program- even Windows Paint- flip it until it's readable- and save it as a .bmp, .jpg, or .gif and host it-post it. :)

There are free file sharing hosts out there, too- and everyone SHOULD have Adobe Reader... but it's not foolproof. ;)

Actually the best way would be to post a link to the URL if you found it on a web site. It may well be copyrighted material and shouldn't be posted directly in any form without first receiving the permission of the author.

Ah- good catch, Tom. Yes- if it's copywrited material and not labeled as free to share, please just provide a link to the site you got it from. Copywrites get very murky and icky to wade through in electronic data- so playing it safe is usually the best way to go.

The only problem I have is that it downloads the PDF right away when I click on it. I can't figure out how to just post the link. Tom, can you figure it out?
It is the first item on this page of search results from google.

The one just called VITAMIN C

Thanks guys!

Here's a direct link to another site that has the same article open in XTML- http://bajaokla.com/dachback/ester_c.htm if you want to share it. I like to do a little research to make sure people exist and things are quoted correctly before I do, and I haven't had the time to read this yet- but it may very well be worth sharing. :)

Oh- and see that little link that says "view in HTML" in the google search? That will skip the PDF entirely. It generally works well on PDF files that are mainly simply formatted text, like this one.

You can always "right click" on a link to pull up a menu that will let you copy the shortcut (the address to the file) too.

I do give Ester-C daily as a preventive, but only 500 mg. Anyone give 1000 mg as this document suggests? Or is the 1000mg only for recouperating dogs?

Here is the link for the PDF file. As long as you have Adobe Acrobat reader installed it should work for you.

1000 or more is for recouperating dogs. You can go into Dodgers and check their files. Gunner takes 500. He also takes a Pet Vit., Fish oil and I'm going to get him started on glucosamine.
