length and height

For a miniature, what is the avg. length and height of it? I have been to a few dog shows recently and noticed that other miniature smooths were about the size of Timber is now, and he's only 8 months old! Should I expect Timber to get much, if at all, bigger?

All I can tell you is my own personal experience.

Rudy is about the same length and height he was at 8-9 months, but he did gain weight. He weighed in at 8.5 pounds at 8 months and now, fully grown weighs 10.75.

Roscoe is not quite 10 months old and he too has gained weight since his 8 month weigh in. He is already a tweenie though.

It seems to me that after 8 months old the boys fill out more, get that deep chest and strong keel, and add muscle mass.

Tiff, why does it matter Timber is nutered and you plan to put him in Jr.Showmanship there the dog does not get judged only the handler and how you present the dog and if you go on to preformance events it does not matter either.Kaye
