And thanks for the info...here I was admiring all the other LHs w/ the long flowing coats. Is grooming really that bad? Sassy is only 7 1/2 months old so aside from baths, brushing, and clipping the hair between her toes her grooming hasnt been any trouble at all!

Oh my goodness, I was wondering where my long haired girls hair was! shes 6 months and its finally not looking standard. Her tail has a slight fan too, but shes far from a long haired dog.... I kinda like her this way but was wondering when the hair comes!

Thanks for asking that question. I have been wondering the very same thing. It seems that Mitzi is an in between in the hair department. I was worried she was not only a tweenie on her size but also with her coat too. <IMG SRC="http://dachsie.org/ubb/cwmsmilies/cwm1.gif" border=0>
